OUR HISTORY
2003
Clara Montero and Mario Marín set up Montero Traducciones. Their careers as freelance translators culminates in the founding of this company. Initially they worked with a very basic infrastructure in order to provide their services to the biotechnology sector.

2006
Montero Traducciones grows exponentially. The company starts to offer translation services in new language combinations and branches out into new specialist fields, leading to increased demand. This is the year that it opened its first office in Brunete (Madrid).

2008
Montero Traducciones’ workforce expands. The company’s main customers belong to the biohealth and intellectual property sectors. Highly specialized translators are hired that can deal with these language requirements.

2013
Montero Traducciones undergoes an internationalization process. Our customers’ good references and worldwide reputation enables the company to take the leap into the international market, especially in the United States. This year marked the start of our expansion into new markets.

2014
Montero Traducciones strengthens its position as a leader in specialized technical translation. The productive effort, quality of service and growth in human and technological resources lead to an immensely successful company.

2015
The internationalization process continues. Montero Traducciones makes headway into the Asian market. To achieve this, it has curated local strategic partnerships that consolidate its services specifically for that geographical region.

2017
Montero Traducciones sets up an internal department focused on technology and the best practices to be applied to each of their customers. This has arisen from a clear commitment to technology in the sector.

In response to the growing needs of our internationally expanding customers, Montero Traducciones changes its name to Montero Language Services, providing global solutions and a full range of new professional language services.

2019
Montero Language Services consolidates the automation of its processes. The company implements a global online management system that completely revolutionizes our work systems and brings together all the strategic departments under a single platform.

2020
After the global pandemic was declared, Montero Language Services set up work-from-home throughout its entire operative infrastructure in just 24 hours. This allowed us to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our team.
